Sun Visor Stickers

I did a search and found nothing. Has anyone removed the warning stickers on the sunvisors? If so how did you do it and did it turn out alright? It seem my eyes are drawn to them. They look like more than just a sticker are they laminated or something? Thanks for your help!

They look like they are screen printed. Maybe you could duck tape over the sticker. That is, if you have the gray interior.
While I was looking at the sticker, I noticed there is a loop that makes a paper clip on the injection molded piece snaps into the roof mount. If you are sitting in the drivers seat, looking at the sticker, off to the right and toward the wind shield is where it's located.

On my 2006 F350 I started to remove them by tearing them off, but I could not get the whole thing to come off and had 1/3 of it left on. Then I could never get a good grip on the edge of the remaining 1/3...so it was still that way when I traded it in on the 2011 F350. Its had to get them off.

You could always swap the drivers side visor to the pass side and not have to worry about it.

Wow, some people worry about the most trivial things. I have never even thought of how to take them off. Not throwing rocks but it does seem trivial....

One persons trivial is another persons detail-oriented.

It's personal preference! Just sayin'......

I can't stand them either. I tried to get my finger nail under them but they seem pretty stuck. I was afraid even if I could it might just stretch out the vinyl on the visor and not look right. Thought about ordering new visors but with homelink it would be pretty pricey. And who knows, when you order them as parts they still might come with the stickers anyways.

I'm wondering when owners will get sick of watching the square 'Ford Trucks' symbol smash into the concrete every time they start the truck!

Now if I could reprogram that so Sarah Evans smiles at me....

There is a new web site called visorvisions.com. They offer three sizes of stickers and about twenty designs to cover the sun visor warning labels.
I don't need one for my 1986 F-150, but they look great in my Camry.

Get some wide blue painters masking tape, carefully mask it off on the outside edges covering everything else with a plastic cloth and spray paint them. Just swing the visor out toward the open door and there you go. I bet you will find a color that closely matches your visor. Won't match up perfect but who cares. I would find one of the camo colors that produce a matte finish so it doesn't shine.

Better yet! Take some family pictures, crop them to fit then use double sided tape to hold them in place. Always important to remember that's what lifes about anyway. Your family will appreciate the thought and it might just help save some fuel or a speeding ticket. . . or worse.

That's the last word on that - LOL!!!
