ScanGauge temp diff between EOT and ECT after cold soak

After letting my engine cool for 24hrs, I noticed with key on, engine off the ScanGauge indicates a temperature difference between the two of 2.5 deg. The ECT shows 73 deg, and the EOT 75.5. They should be reading the same. Is it a calibration error, or possibly a bad sender? What have others done to remedy this?

They should be close, but I think a few degrees in within the acceptable margin of error for the sensors.
