Fuel tank problem

hi, i have a 86 302 fi , with dual tanks my rear tank has a whole in it i so dont put fuel in it , now the problem is when i fill by saddle tank, or even with a half tank , the fuel is somehow getting pushed back to that rear tank so im pissing out almost 4.00 dollar fuel, i dont know how it;s happening and is there a way to keep the fuel from reaching that rear tank ?
thanks
Dave

It's funny that the selector valves on these trucks are starting to malfunction at around the same time frame isn't it?
