Fuse 22 is more than likely blown under the hood in distribution box. New fuse and unplug the fuel bowl heater, that is what usually blows the fuse. I think its the middle plug on the drivers side of the bowl. Not sure why it would happen when testing batteries, could be just coincidence I guess.
still nothing all the fuses are good pulled 40 plus fuses it seams and all looked great. had it towed today and left the key on for the 2 mile drive got home checked the ecu and it was hot. any chance the ecu went bad and thats y the wait to start light wont come on?
i have a bullydog 6 position chip in it when i first put it in i would have to check the connection to the chip all the time when it wouldnt start and the wts light wouldnt come on but if i un pluged it the truck would start rite up i unpluged it and still no light and just cranks and cranks.
sounds dumb but may be a loose/corroded battery lug. dealt with the same issue intermittently after replacing batteries over the winter. would have to pop hood and move one of the terminals slightly and it would fire right up. Ended up replacing both positive terminals and has been fine since.
battries were both new in december and all the cable ends were replaced and soldered on?
