won't pump fuel
1985 (10/84) 6 cyl. 4 sp. 4X4. Single bbl carb, Duraspark 2.
it won't pull fuel from the tanks. New pump and filters.It has 2 tanks. dash switch seems fine. Did any of ya'll ever have any have problems with the solennoid that switches tank or the nylon fuel lines cracking? I have had this truck 14 years and this is the first time it ever let me set. Thank you.

Yes, the solenoid failing and the lines getting old is common. Why don't you pull some of the lines loose that go directly to the tanks, and see which one gives you some fuel at the solenoid. You could then bypass the solenoid and run directly off one tank till you get it fixed.
