im thinking about trading to a 1999 f250 with a powerstroke with auto tranny but it will be my first diesel so i dont really know what to be looking for. and theyve put a steel flatbed on it and left the single rear wheel would i have to change rear ends or could i just put duelley wheels on it till i found a bed to go on it?

To make a DRW out of it you can get all the adapters from American T.A.W. For around 600.0 then all you will need is the wheels. No need to do a rear end swap or front swap.

Yes, you could do that, but it wont increase your payload or towing capabilities at all. All it will accomplish is aesthetics.
