99 F350 C&C DRW to SRW Conversion
After countless hours scouring the internets, I still have no definitive answers to my 10¢ question. I'm looking for options to convert my rig to single rear wheel before I finish my flatbed design and buy new tires (or wheels). Yes, I know that trading is an option, but, after $5k for a ZF6 / manual t-case swap and all new computers to keep things happy and non-melty, I’d rather keep this rig. Plus, it’s nearly impossible to find a 7.3L with a ZF6 / Man T-Case 4WD Ext-Cab SRW C&C. For a variety of reasons, SRW is more desirable for what I want to use the truck for. I like the chassis-cab because of the ease of designing a flatbed (possibly for a future camper build), and the fact that it has a narrow Dana 80. I also happen to have 5x almost-new 315/75R16s on a recently retired truck, I'd love to find some factory steel 8x170 16s, mount them up and call it good...for now.
Can I simply remove the Dana 60 DRW spacers up front and bolt on a set of factory Super Duty SRW wheels?
Because the DRW chassis-cab’s Dana 80 is narrower than a regular DRW, can I achieve a similar front-rear track width while using the same wheels on all 4-corners?
Anyone done this before?
Best case scenario; I don't have to swap axles, I don't end up dropping $5k on Ricksons and off-road 19.5s, and I maybe have to swap SRW Dana 60 FR hubs.

I have done this before. It is just a matter of removing the front adapters but sometimes the front adapters are not held on with wheel studs, they use coarse threaded bolts. If that is the case you need to swap in the studs from the adapters.
The rear is a direct bolt on as long as you use the oem offset wheels.

It is lucky I have a flatbed and a cab & chassis, but, not so great that my ugly *** flatbed is 8'+ wide. Since the truck has always looked silly with the too-wide bed, I'm not too worried about mounting up the singles in the rear until I build a new bed. Pulled the spare off my retired F150 and had it mounted up to my new factory steel 8-slot F350 wheels. I'll get a leveling kit ordered to give me a little more clearance for the 315s.

Planning on doing the same?
So this looks to be a pretty old thread but I was hoping I might get a response nonetheless. I have a 99 F350 super duty crew cab 4x4 dually. I’m not sure if it’s a cab& chassis but it’s got a 10’ utility bed so it wouldn’t surprise me. I wanted TJ do the same thing and rid myself of the dually setup and run singles instead. Being my utility bed does hang out quite a bit farther than the cab I wanted to make sure the rear wheels remained in roughly the same stance.
I was told I could just swap the fronts to the rears and dish the front wheels out the opposite direction and that this would bring the tracking where it needs to be. For some reason this seems to simple to work. I’m planning on getting new rims and tires in a couple months but am not in the market for the Buckstop route super singles 10 lug semi rims, not like I wouldn’t love to go that direction, just a little outta me price range! So what would you recommend I do so I at least can do what is bare bones necessary to run singles for the time being so I can begin pulling measurements for my new bed/camper design? I wanna make sure to make the most outta the space I’ll be able to have bed wise without the additional pair of wheels. Any help and direction would be greatly appreciated mate!
