I downloaded the Torque app for my EVO 4g phone last night. Looks pretty interesting. Ordered a Bluetooth OBD adapter for it today. I don't remember what brand it was now but it got really good reviews. I was told to stay away from the Chinese made adapters. Does anyone else use this app? Looking forward to playing around with it. Should be able to see EGT etc. I just want to see more than the truck gives me in the LCD display.
I'm using the el-cheapo adapter from Amazon on my Droid duce. It still takes two drive cycles to get the coolant temp. to work and throttle position percent is a little buggy.
I bought the Soliport ELM 327 Bluetooth OBDII off Amazon for $30 and it seems to work good. There are a number of gauges in the app that don't work but I don't think that the ELM 327 is to blame but rather the app.

How did you get that screen capture? Are you rooted?
I don't even see Oil Temp in my list of choices. Do I need to manually input the PID's?
I think the engine oil temp (EOT) PID is already on the enhanced Ford menu, or whatever it's called. I don't have my Xoom with me to confirm but I think in the options menu of Torque, there's a selection for Ford PID's.
Under settings there is an Advanced OBD management option. When I press it I can choose to load a predefined set. The only options are Pontiac Grand Prix and GM/Opel/Vauxhall.
Go to the 'Realtime Information' screen, then press the menu button, then 'Add Display', select the display type you want and that should give you a list like this. All of the active outputs are in green. Have fun!
BTW, you have to go through two complete drive cycles before it starts reading coolant temp.
I told Ian about this bug a month ago.

I have a different looking list after I hit 'Add Display'. The sensors with data have an asterisk next to them. I'm using version 1.1.31 of Torque (free).
I have heard about the coolant temp issue before. For me it's hit or miss on whether or not it works the first time.
