E4od direct drum/intermediate

E4od direct drum/intermediate
Need some help bad please? I'm rebuilding my e4od out of my 97 f250 7.5L and everything is going just smooth until I got to the direct drum bushings. No matter how I install the front or narrow bushing, press or tap in when installed the center support will not fit. I have tried several bushing but nothing seems to work and this is the only thing holding me up. Please any suggestions would help.
