I don't mean to doubt the words of y'all but there is no way that trailer weighs 10k. That's a 45' trailer right? I would think the axles and chassis weigh at least 15k, then there is the box on top of it.
Oh well, cool pic though. I'd like to see the air brake set up.
I have a pretty good idea what it weighs and don't care to argue about that part of it. There is no way that they are towing that thing on public roads. DOT enforcement would have red tagged sure as anything. There just isn't any way to legally tow an air brake trailer with a Superduty.
It makes for a cool pic playing around in the parking lot and it may have been towed "locally" but you can bet nobody is "delivering" these trailers like that!
Jet Trailers web site says the 42' aluminum one is 8175 lbs and the 42' steel one is 9905 lbs. Those weights are without tarp.
So basically a little more than half as much as some people are pulling with SRW F250s in some cases. No problem, man. Don't even need the trailer brakes, air or no air. I'm actually disappointed they felt the need for a dually. An F-150 would be good enough. Pussies. Wake me up when they deliver one of them full of grain.
