Could it have been a third party? Or special package like how the Roll-A-Long trucks are?
I know dealers out here will put graphics or pinstripes on the set apart from other dealers.
I'm from SE Idaho........Right above SLC, UT (170 miles)........Never seen one like it here.......If its paint, it could be a dealer done thing I suppose. I bought a new '92 that had "Mountain States Limited Edition" Badges on it below the F150 badges......It was an XLT.......with manual crank windows, have never seen another like it. It was a strawberry metallic color on top down to just below the body line near the door handles......then pure white below that. Also had the white moldings down low. When I first got it (brand new) there was masking tape and masking paper still stuck on underneath where the color changed.....like it had been done at the dealer. I saw some blue and silver ones that were painted and badged the same way......but in all my years never saw another strawberry/white one......wish I had never gotten rid of it.......the paint code on it was the strawberry color.......did not show any white, so that is another reason I believe it was painted by a dealer. I bought it from a dealer in a small town in Wyoming, but they did bring trucks up from a larger dealer in Denver so I assume that's where it probably got the paint work.........
Very interesting.Mine was probably done at a custom shop. Autocheck shows 1 owner and registered out of Riverton, UT up until last year. I think it spent a lot of time in a garage. 58,000 orig. miles. I bought it from a flipper out of Nampa ID. on ebay. Great guy to deal with, and he finds very nice OBS Fords.
