I'm back! and i need some advice..

Hey guys.. I used to have an 84 f150, which i sold and got a 94 Firebird. I miss trucks, and i'm in a spot that im able to trade my car for a 75 f100 with a 460.

The motor is in great shape. Thats not what im worried about. The tires and lift.

8 Inch lift with 40 inch super swampers.

<a href="http://s484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/boyer61/?action=view&amp;current=IMAG0001.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i484.photobucket.com/albums/rr210/boyer61/IMAG0001.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

What do you guys think? would it pass inspection? It gonna be my DD, i dont care too much about gas mileage. I havent driven it yet, he just put a new power steering pump on it and it's very hard to turn the wheel sitting still.

Please help me out!

Guess it depends on what state is doing the inspection . I know in Utah it wouldn't pass safety based on the tires sticking out from the fenders . You would need flares covering the tires .
Looks like a cool truck though .

Just found out! North Carolina does not require a safety inspection for vehicles 35 years or older. If this truck drive as good as it looks, it's mine!!!

That is good news for you and old truck fanatics in North Carolina . Wish Utah was like that . I have to jump through all kinds of hoopes every year to get mine to pass .

Keep us posted how she drives , and if you pick it up .
