Reset Tranny Codes?
My O/D Off light was flashing. Checked the fluid level & it was a little low. Topped it off & the tranny seems to be working perfect, nice & smooth, but how do I reset the light? Can I just disconnect the battery like for a Check Engine light?

Bestway is to have a dealer tech reset it with a NGS. I believe that if you disconnect the battery on a OBDII vehicle for 72 hours it will reset the code. With OBDI it was instant but OBDII has a back up battery or something that keeps the code in for a while. You're talking about the light on the dash right? That trouble code light? If you're talking about the one on the shift lever push the button.

you can clear the codes by unhooking the battery on obdII also. To zap any stored electricty that may retain memory turn on the headlamps, or just touch both batt cables together. (unhooked of course)
