I have a '79 3/4 ton supercab, and I am lost as to where I should put a amp. The one that I am looking at is a Lanzer Vibe 3200 watt amp, and the dimensions are 10.25''W x 2.36''H x 23.62''L. Figured you guys might be able to help more then the general audio catagory
Depends on what back seat you have & subs/box. the S/C Im looking at getting has the jump seats & Im sort of planning on making a mini center console to house the stereo stuff.
I don't know what it's called, but the seat in the back is a solid bench, and the bottom and top fold down to make a cargo area. The 10 inch sub would be going in a custom made box that sits on the bellhousing hump in the front. At least that's the idea that makes the most sense right now.
Make a box to hold everything that will sit under the back seat when its folded down.
Thats what I wanted, but there is no room for the amp.

My dad did the same thing on his 78 single cab.
My only other idea was to take the 2 speakers out that are in the back on the side walls, put the amp on one side, cut a larger hole for the sub on the other, and then make custom boxes for the speakers to mount on the wall higher up
