I think 16K is a great price, not just good. I paid 21K for my '03 with almost 100K miles (7.3 4X4 limited). I would have taken a '02 for that price.

Congratulations!!!

I bought my first Excursion maybe a month and a half ago, and let me tell you, this board ROCKS! I've fixed, updated or found a solution to (but not yet implemented):
Slip yoke "bang"
Door seals
Keyless entry code
Weak rear hatch lock
Found the suspension solution (just need to get the springs)
Updated the dash to the F650 panel

These guys have all seen and done it before...I haven't found a question they can't answer yet, so use the board and save a grip of cash!

The smoke just cleared and it ended up being $17,400. I took it in on trade at the dealership for $15k and two days later the GM added $2400 to it before he gave it back. Sucks but they over allowed on my trade so I am right back where we started.
