exaust clearence

i need some help. i have an 1983 Ford Bronco thats four wheel drive and i also have long tube headers. the passenger side went in great and i had no problems. when i got to the driver side i already knew i would have to take the frount drive shaft out, then when it got it all hooked up i went to reconect my frount drive shaft and i did not have enough clearance. i was woundering is there anything i could do to may headers to where i will still have the option of putting it in four wheel drive. ill take any advice i can get. thanks
