Schrader Valve
I am currently working on a 1988 F-150 300 I 6 and am having problems with running at higher rpm's. I am wondering if the fuel pressure might be off, and was wondering if this vehicle has a schrader valve with which to check. Also, where could i get a manual for this vehicle?

A Haynes manual is a good investment and can be found at most auto part stores for less than $30. I found mine at a local bookstore that was getting ready to close and paid $10. It's not the best of course but it has most of the basic info you will need, fluid capacities wiring and vacuum hose diagrams etc.
There are better books out there but can be expensive.

Yes it has a schrader valve that you can check the fuel pressure.
Just short pin#2 to pin#6 of the self-test plug and you should get around 60 PIS with engine not running and the key on.
