For years I've used a electric leave blower to blow off most of the water and hit the emblems and areas where water comes out when you drive later.Especially on the wheels.
Follow up with a couple of 100% cotton towels.
Works like a charm.Especially if waxed .The water drops fly off the finish,
Try it.
Yes you do look a little weird blow drying your vehicle but it works great.

Years ago I bought a Shop-Vac that doubled when you took the top end off it became a leaf blower.
Stay away from the gas powered leaf blowers. Some say it can blow an oily substance on the finish.
Go electric. It works great.Like I said on waxed paint.
Gets water out of those nooks and crannies.
Shortens drying time dramatically.
You will need a couple of towels to dry what is left on areas..

MScotty,
Yes, the "older" types of vacs that are basically one-piece aren't as clean as the newer types w/detachable blower motor/heads.
The blowers works great on the Bronco due to the ability to clear water out of the seams betw. the camper top and body and along the window weatherseals all around; aside from the reg. body seams.

And I thought I was the only whacko to use his leaf blower to dry the cars. Works great for me too!

Was reading the thread on the leaf blower idea the other day, well today was sunny 72 degrees and there I was blowing off my truck with my weed eater 195mph leaf blower......it worked wonders around the window trim. The wife thought I had a few too many cold ones, but my neighbor was impressed...I gave him the forums email address......thanks for the tip.....Dave
