I made some progress the last couple days despite the near 100 degree temps! Got some tires put on some wheels I had and got those mounted to give me a roller, then got the engine installed today. Here are a couple pics,....more can be seen in My garage.
Looks good!
Did you use chassis saver or por-15 on your frame? looks great!
I know you were drenched in sweat! i go out to the garage and sweat just turning the lights on!
Be careful, it brutal out there! I work outside all day or inside in a process building of 130 degrees.
I can't even get motivated to do anything but wish! ready for a little cooler weather...
I'm packing and move to Kentucky.. I just spent 4 hour wiring one headlight and the park light.. something is wrong with my truck (1952)or is it me ...
Calm down Tom, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are these old trucks now take a deep breath----exhell----pat Paula on the butt and get back to work,Garry
Your truck is comming along nice,a lot of hard work . I know what you mean about that heat, its been in the 90s with humittity higher than normal for this area, ive been just dripping and lovin every minute of it Ford Feaver for sure.
This week while I was off, I was able to get the engine mounted, clutch installed except for the linkage (waiting on parts), and got the transmission all bolted in.
Started working on drive shaft....got the old universals out and the drive shaft wire wheeled. Started installing the universals and ran into fits and clearance problems, and it was fighting me all the way. Gave it up for the day since it was so hot and I was getting pissed.
Clutch parts due in on Thursday my next day off...hopefully we will get a little cooler weather.
