hey guys i need some help, ive got a 96 f150 5.0 4x4, the truck idles fine but when your driven and putting it under a load like going up a hill or really getting on it. It starts to bogg down and you can start to hear it (labor) knock. Ive done a tune up plugs, wires, cap & rotor. I need it fixed cant stand my truck not running right. thanks
went to autozone put scanner on it and it passed. then took it to a local shop check the timing and fuel pressure and it was all good. What could it be any info would be great.
how long ago did you do the tune up. up a vacuum guage on it if the needle wobbles then your timing chain is streched and probly needs to be replaced. you might even pull the plugs and get a look at them if the color is off you need to fix that problem and check for knock again

No codes, I would look to do a vacuum test, and run with a fuel gauge hooked up. A vacuum leak is consistent with a lose of power on a upgrade.
Not sure what a Wot scan is? I checked the timing and it was good. havnt messed with the distrutor. i thought it sounded like the TPS but should throw a code right? could it have anything to do with the trans?
