And that's simply thrilling about the alignment any explanation why? I know they may need to put in bushings, but that is still a lot for labor, and the bushings can't cost that much
I think it could, maybe you would have to trim the bumper a tad. But those are 16" wheels that came with 265/70R16 tires. So I think I may try to find an LT tire that is just a smidge bigger than what I have now and leave it alone. I haul some, and I know that oversize tires can really slow you down
And it looks like I'll be getting tires sooner than later seeing as how I lost one hauling hay tonight--Damn used tires! :P They were pretty bald anyway. So FYI to people considering this mod., IF you have old tires, the sudden change in camber can be the straw that breaks the camel's back!
I wasn't exactly ecstatic when i heard it blow And yeah, i went and had the tires put on today. 10ply 265/75R16. Not too knobby so they ride really smooth, but I think they ought to do decent in mud or snow too. Unfortunately the alignment guy at the tire shop is on vacation for two weeks, so the camber issues will have to wait a little while.
Good choice. I can't see why people would do anything else for a leveling kit. The ride on these is much better then ANY lift companies springs I've ever had.
I'm curious about this. I'm considering purchasing the Superlift K521 kit. It says it comes with new shocks, coils and adjustable camber bushings. Have you ever had these? If these Moog springs are indeed better, I might look into going this route. Thanks!
I myself have never used tha kit. I have had superlift parts before and try were great. However if you're only lookin to gain an inch or so the moogs are the way to go. You wont need new shocks but its a good idea. The bushings are also a good thing but the TTB by design will wear your tires out. My Broncos front tires sit sqaute with the ground and I haven't had an alignment. Its been months now and I have no complaints.
That's cool. I'm just trying to change the look of my truck and maybe have a little more room for working. The shocks are what sold me on it. I need new shocks, and if I can get a good kit that is designed to work well together then that's another plus. I plan on buying it next month. Hopefully I'll also have your good fortune and not need the big adjustments! Thanks for the quick reply! I like the way your Bronco sits.
