64 front suspension

I'm going to update my front suspention by replacing the crossmember and putting a IFS package. 1. I saw a couple options for IFS and steering packages on Helix and would like a couple other sources for parts. 2. I see everyone who does this boxes in their frame, I think for support? 3. Has anyone else done this and has advise and or pictures? Thanks

64 F100 FRONT SUSPENSION MOD

HEY I HAVE PUT HTE CROWN VIC SETUP ON MY TRUCK EASY SETUP AND THE COMPLETE SUSPENSION K-MEMBER AND ALL IS SO LIGHT I CARRIED IT TO MY TRUCK MYSELF

TRYING TO GET ANOTHER CAMERA PICS IN PHONE NOT GOOD THOUGH, SAW A TREAD ON THIS SWAP JUST WASNT SURE IT COULD HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF MY SETUP PLUS THIS INSTALL IS PRETTY MUCH BOLT IN, BESIDES THE TUBES FOR THE BOLTS BOX PLATES FOR EXTRA STRENGTH AND 2 BRACKETS FOR THE ARMS THAT CAN BE WELDED OR BOLTED WILL POST PICS SOON

You can also do the Jaguar clip swap. Its similar to the CV swap if a few key ways. Namely in that it is a K-member, and can almost just be bolted in.

It allows 15 inch rims, a 4 inch drop stock, near stock track width, and decent disk breaks.

I was thinking of putting on a double wish bone suspention with an new crossmember. Is there an advantage to the k member other than its bolts on?

Not really any big difference I am aware of with out seeing the competing set-ups.

The CV is a heavy car thusly suited to light duty trucks such as a F150.

The Jag is no light weight, and offers decent breaks for cruising/light work.
