im thinking about getting one this weekend and id like to know if it will store all my settings if i unplug it for a long period of time?

I does have it's own keep alive circuit..... don't know for HOW long, but if you're talking a few weeks....yes!

It keeps all my gauges when I unpluged it the other day to plug in another code reader to the obdII port when I plugged it back in it was all still there.

even when I did my oil cooler I had the batts unhooked for a week and still had the x-gauges when I took it for a ride after the work
