I have an evolution, not sure how old or what version. It currently shows boost, eng temp, trans temp, and EGT. I want to view EOT, ECT, EGT, and Trans Temp. Anyone know how to change it? Also, I'm getting an EGT error code, and the reading is showing in the 125-175 range. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
Got it, thanks. I was one step away. I checked the error code that comes up on the diagnostic test, it says P0008, EGT circuit low. Anyone know the fix?
Look on the back and/or side of the unit and it will have a label with a part and version number's. That'd help. It'd also help to know what year, etc truck it is in.
As far as the code, that's not a diesel engine code, I don't know what it is. You might need to go to Edge Products| The Leaders in Performance Electronics and contact their tech support. If the problem is the EGT probe, you can buy a replacement.
If you go to the Edge website you can down load the full manual for your unit. Then on the same site you can plug in your unit to a USB and download updated current software that will bring your current. The manual will walk you threw it and they have great help on the phone if you get stuck.
