Thanks speedy! 78-79 are my favorite by far....My father had a '78 or '79 XLT with the "youth package" as a demo when he worked for my great uncle's dealership back then. It was black with the yellow/orange/red graphics on the sides and a bench seat...I would LOVE to have that Bronco today. Aside from that, like you, 92-96 is my favorite...I just REALLY like the front of it, second only to the 78-79.

THAT'S IT!!!!! That is EXACTLY what his demo looked like! Thanks for posting that! Though it just makes me want it more now that I've seen it again!

My uncle also ordered some "custom" stepside F-150's from a company called "Sands" back in '77-'79 - IIRC...they had murals, roll bars, grill guards, white spokes with the openings shaped like hearts, meaty rubber...those were the last of my high school years, so I couldn't buy one, but I sure wanted to!

I'll take your word for it -- but there is a reason you can't find any pictures. Just a thought...

I actually googled F150 Sandbox and found a couple pics...but they weren't clear enough to see the wheels in detail, but I get your point
