how much will it effect my 1990 ford f-150 <a href="http://www.motorhaven.com/">302 </a>to put headers on it, catalytic converter is eliminated, and have the o2 sensor reading from just the right bank instead of how it is now where both pipes did run into the cat and right in front of that there was a tube that goes between the two pipes where the o2 sensor is screwed in?
The computer is going to have problems. Speed density computers do not react well to flow changes unless you reprogram them (ie, chip). The headers by themselves will give a check engine condition, the cat removal will make it worse.... A chip or eliminators + calibrating the A/F ratio will be needed.
hmmm well i have ordered a jet chip and a venom 400 control module, that will adjust the mixtures according to my right foot, correct? i will be safe with that or will i need to do some fine tuning?
The Jet chip tunes at open loop (about 80% throttle and more). The Venom modifies the signal from the pedal and makes it more sensitive (ie, its a gimmick). You can accomplish the same thing as the Venom by pushing the pedal further down.

A Jet chip is not going to address headers --- that's something a custom tune specifically for you box code would do.

how do i get or do a "custom tune specifically for my box code" since i will have the chip what do you mean by "eliminators + calibrating the a/f ratio will be needed" what are eliminators and what do they do and i thought the chip would calibrate the a/f ratio for more performance???
could i get a diablo chip for my truck its a 1990 f-150 302, i cant seem to find one

where do i get the eliminators? and i still cant find the diablo chip for my truck 1990 ford f-150 302 if i do get the eliminators can you program it for my setup?

Any of the Diablo chips listed will work. The 1 stage, 2 stage or 3 stage. Just click the word "Diablo" for the store. Try www.summitracing.com for the eliminators. Yes, we can program for them.
If you just wanted to eliminate the O2 sensor you would need a voltage reference to supply approximately.45 volt to the computer to make it believe the engine was running at the right mix all of the time. I you really wanted to do it probably the best thing to do would be to use one of the LM 78xx regulator chips and a couple of resistors to supply it with the right voltage.
