That is good to know; I didn't want to replace it until I was pretty sure it would solve the problem. I will look into a salvage yard or reman PCM. Thanks for the input.

I have a salvage yard PCM on its way; hopefully it takes care of my problems. Thanks again for the help.

Sure enough, I put in my salvage yard PCM and the P0443 went away, as did the flashing TCIL. I'm betting the P0713 is gone also. It looks like jk080 was right, a new PCM cured this particular ailment.
