Looking for intake mods.

Friend has an x and it's running badly when around a 1/4-1/8 tank. Looking for a write up on it and is it similar to a SD?

Are you looking for air intake mods or fuel intake mods ? Not sure I am clear on what you are asking exactly.

I can not think of anything with the air intake that would be affected by the fuel tank level.

As far as the X being similar to a SD.yes they have numerous similarities as the x is built on the SD platform and share many of the same parts.

Maybe you could give us some additional details of the problem and symptoms of your issue. plenty of experienced guys on this forum who are eager to help. But your post is kinda cryptic

Yea it is! Especialy with predict text typing intake instead of intank mod. But yes fuel mods intank. I was wondering if the pickup tubes and screens were built the same and if it could be hutch and harpooned like the SD's. Thought the internals of the tank may be different. Also curious of the success rate of just cleaning the screens and reinstalling the factory set up. This is on a 7.3, '99-01. Thanks! Buy the way I also posted in the 99-03 7.3 forum so maybe they will give info as well.
