I know many of you know Mike (GeorgiaX) on here. He has a 7.3 Ex.

I received some very sad news today from his wife and I don't have all the details at this time but sadly Mike has been called home due to complications to an infection he had been fighting in ICU that spread to his lungs and kidneys.

Mike has been at two of our three Excursion Diversions and I have personally come to know Mike over the last few years. In fact last January when I was in Atlanta on business I went out to dinner with Mike and had a great time catching up with him.

He was an absolutely amazing man that will certainly be missed by many!!!

I just wanted to share the info with his fellow Excursion and FTE family members.

Mike leaves behind a wife (Joyce) and two young daughters.

It is a sad day for sure...sorry to share such sad news guys.

My family will pray comfort to the family. God bless them in this hard time, I know what it's like and I'll tell you, even after 5 years, it creeps up on you.

 

Hate to hear about this. Out of the 4 different forums I visit, this is the third death just this year. Condolences to his family and to all of you that were close to and knew him.

My condolences to Joyce and the kids. We had the pleasure of meeting Mike and his family at the 2nd Excursion Diversion and was truly a great guy.
