Stud Girdles, when do you need them?

Stud Girdles, when do you need them?
Hey guys, wondering when it is best to use stud girdles? Are they an all the time kind of thing, or only in high RPM applications, or high valve lift, or what? Thanks for clearing this up, looking to get one step closer in my engine build!
For reference, the engine in question is a 351W, wont go above 6k rpm
Trick flow 185cc heads
comp cams extreme 4x4 cam
Lift: .493''/.512''
Duration: 262°/270°

I think you need them if you are going to run that motor at higher revs for extended times, or if you simply have an extra $300 to throw at it....
