351C engine swap

I want to install a 351C into my 66 f250. My big question is can I get motor mounts somewhere or do I need to make my own. I would prefer to buy. I also want to install headers. I have seen sanderson headers for f100s but will they work in the f250? Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Understand this first, there were no Cs installed in Ford trucks, therefore there will be no parts listed anywhere for a C in a truck. Everything will be trial & error or doing what someone else has.

You are a pretty smart guy and can figure it out, I'm sure.

cleveland engines where factory fitted into Australian f trucks from mid 60s to late 80s. ford Australia will have engine mounts. My 69 f100 came with a 302c from new.Try ford or Australian ftruck parts.

Im pretty sure there is something out there that will work, but in this case I would probably just fab my own mount providing you have the original pads on the sides of the motor. The Cleveland was such a short lived motor unfortunately.

I did some looking around, and it doesnt appear that Modified, 385 or FE mounts will work. However with some modification a set of Windsor motor mounts may work. You may be in luck with this from the reading Ive done.

Best of luck, Clevelands are great motors.

Getting the 351c in there should be fairly easy. 302's and 351c's (and 351w's) share the same mounting dimensions. Get a set of 302 truck perches and motor mounts and you should be set. The exhaust may be another story. You may have to have some custom pipes bent up for it.

Small block perches 302/351M/400 perch and a correct truck 302 mount will get you what you need.

As noted the 351C and the small block share the same bell and mounting points on the engine.

the 351M/400 is a deritive of the same 335 family and shares the same enging block points but has the larger 385 (460) series bell pattern.

I would like to thank everybody for the great information. The cleveland was going to go into my 66 fairlane but have changed my mind. The engine is pushing 435HP and I will be putting a top-loader behind it. I know I will need to modify the crossmember, but I am a pretty smart feller. Again thanks for the help! I am sure I will need help in the future until then thanks again.

1969/79 F100 302 / 1975/79 F150 302 / 1977/79 F100/350 2WD 351M/400 use the same engine supports (aka towers, stands, perches) =

D7TZ-6028-B (351M/400 2WD right) replaced DOTZ-6028-A (302 right) & D7TZ-6029-B (351M/400 2WD-left replaced DOTZ-6029-A (302 left).

351C = 1970/74 US/Canadian Passenger Cars/Ranchero's only. Dunno what Ford did "down under."

AFAIK, there was no such thing as a 302C installed in any FoMoCo vehicle in the US of A or in Canuckland.
