Where could trash be in the carb that a chem dip would maybe fix,
opposed to blowing carb out with blast air and cleaner would not fix? (like I did twice)
Yes. You really need to buy a rebuild kit. Disassemble the carb completely and dip all the parts that didn't come new in the kit. Scrub out anything that didnt come off and dip again. Then spray it out with the garden hose let it all dry and re assemble.
If all you have done is blow out the carburetor with carburetor cleaner spray, then the only way to ever make it run right again is to fully rebuild it and clean it with Chem Dip. If you've been spraying at a 15 year old carburetor, then I can gaurantee you've moved around enough varnish and junk that the only way to fix it now is to rebuild it the right way.
From reading your posts, it sounds like you've been told you need to rebuild it the right way, and you probably know you need to rebuild it the right way, but you're avoiding that at all costs. It's not going to happen.
Note that a carburetor rebuild does not gaurantee that a rough idle issue will be solved - that could be something else. That doesn't mean you don't need to rebuild the carburetor, because you do.
Brother helps me alot and he actually got a little pissed when I told him I took it off again.Yep gonna do it right. It's not just rough idle now...IT won't idle at all.Dies
Just saw something on youtube.
I swapped out the air horn for one at a junk yard because I beat holes in mine trying to unstick the float one morning late for work.I was unaware of the importance of that small tube thing on the air horn. The guy online said something about drilling it out but Im gonna check to see if my JY air horn is simply clogged. (something my brother did not blow out. After that it's chem dip time by gosh. Man I've tried everything else.
edit .hell my air horn did not have that small tube?
I thought it was a MC 2100?
