shiftier play?

95 F150 with auto trans..i have some slop in the shiftier. its not to bad but you kinda have to find the gear..is this an easy fix can i do it myself?

From: 8600 ft in Colo

On mine, the hole that the shift lever pin pivots in was wallowed out. I drilled it and the shift lever slightly larger & fitted a small shoulder bolt & nut...

Also look right down at the bottom of the steering column for a bracket with two torx head bolts, these often come loose.

it was the torx head bolts..wish everything was such an easy fix
