Do you still have your cat? You can try straight pipe after the cat. If that is too loud then a Magnaflow glass pack could quiet it down.(bout 1/2 the price of reg Magnalfow) They come in different lengths.

I'm not quite sure what your asking. Turbo mufflers are a type of muffler. They have an S flow pattern. They work well and have a mild sound. The Super Turbo from Dynomax is the best one I know of. The really cheap turbo mufflers that are 20 bucks or so are not all that great. I like Magnaflow and Dynomax Ultraflow. They are straight through mufflers. As far as Borla goes, there is nothing wrong with their mufflers besides the price.
