your not not the only one I just did ball joints and took all that stuff off and EVERYTHING was SEIZED I used PB blaster but dont think it helped much
Take a wood block or something and slam that rotor with a sleg hammer
one side of mine rotor was really stuck gooooood
you will get it remember to antiseize them when you put it back together
some parts on mine needed a puller and a sleg hammer to get them off
If your changing rotors out dont worrey about the block of wood just slam it HARD with a sleg hammer
Hey guys i never made it back to the computer yesterday, but i finally got the passenger side rotor off. It had some kind plastic ring in front of the rotor that was coated with and thin layer of metal it kind or resembled aluminum foil. So i took a flat head and peeled it off and sprayed some PB blaster on it. Then i persuaded it off with a sledge hammer, it finally came off! Thanks for the advice on that BLADE35. After i got everything put back together on the passengers side i moved to the drivers side and it only took me about 45 min to get it done. It was kind of a pain but its done and i don't have any more vibration or squeaking when i stop so I'm happy! Thanks again for everybody's help. OH, and for anyone with an 04 like me I had 13in rotors. Not sure if all 04's would have the same size rotor, but just thought i would share that.
I put the links to the pads and rotors from orielly's site, there is not a picture on their site for the pads. I would have liked to get some better rotors and pads but money was tight so i bought what i could afford. I just wanted to keep my truck safe, later on though i would like to upgrade the rotors to something maybe a little better. Does anyone use ceramic pads and do they really help with keeping the break dust down?
Swamp donk I have tried the ceramic pads they seem to be to hard my rotors warped pretty quick. Now i just have cheap autozone rotors and rabestos pads semimatalic
Benny stock pads are great I never wore out my stock ones. I warped the stock rotors then had them turned and put on the ceramic pads and then warped again. Oh now have break controller so no more break issues

can you tell me alittle about a break controller never heard of one what does it do
FWIW all 4 wheels had pretty much the same wear even the back compared to the front
Im just used to my cars I guess they always eat the front brakes first
Wulfman, i heard that the ceramic pads are alot harder and in turn wear down the rotors a little more than the semimetallic pads. This seems to be true from what you experienced. I guess i will just stick with the semimetallic pads.
