Rotors / What size is standard 13 or 14.5 inch on my 2003 F 250

Hey guys I need front rotors and Advance Auto is saying that my truck has 13 and 14.5 inch rotors. Is there a standard size for the 2003 front rotors?

How do I know without taking off the tire and measuring the rotor?

Thanks

Mine has 13-inchers. I think that's what came stock with the 16-inch rims.

I would measure it looking through the rim, just hold you tape up and get it close because between 13 and 14.5 is easy to see.

I've read more threads then I care to remember on this issue. I have an 03 and went down to the parts store for rotors and pads. The kid behind the counter who maybe has been driving a week says there are 2 different sizes and can not explain why from the system. he says the ONLY way to know is to pull the tire and measure the rotor. Man, do i miss the days of books and real parts guys.

So my questions is? why is there a difference? I doubt ford ran out of the 13's and started using 14's just because. I looked through the Chilton book I have which is a fix your truck for dummies guide unlike the real Motors or Chiltons books from back in the day.

Summit Racing sells both the 13.030" rotors and the 14.530" rotors. For the 14.530" rotors, the "Application Notes" state "For vehicles with a mono beam front axle." Summit Racing lists both 2WD and 4WD trucks, which is confusing to me.

I'd do as said before and just guestimate. you will easily be able to see a difference in 1.5 inches in rotor diameter.

i am pretty sure however that a 14.5 inch rotor wont fit in a 16 inch wheel.
calipers for these trucks are pretty big.

if i had to guess, i'd say that the 14.5in rotor is for the 17in and larger wheels
