electric rear window
i just bought a 2004 ford f150 larait 5.4 supercrew my back window wouldnt open and when i hit the switch i checked the fuse but it still doesnt work i want to tear in to it but not sure wear to start

The window switches in these trucks are notorious for going bad. I replaced my driver's side cluster in March due to similar problems.
It could also be a bad motor in the door itself.
The switch cluster is pretty cheap (around $50) so you might want to start there and go up.

The window in my truck has "stuck" before. It is working fine now. But I have had times where I have had to keep hitting the open button a lot of times to open it. One time in particular was like 2 or three minutes. I would hit the open button for a couple seconds, then the close, then the open, then the close and so on. The whole time I was doing this the window was not moving of course, then finally after about 3 muntes of doing this, it opened, I dont know if a connection was corroded or something and it burnt off or what. Lately though it has worked fine. I have had times prior to that where I had to hit it back and forth a few times. Try that, it can't hurt and it did work for me.
