No Fuel To Upper Fuel Bowl

No Fuel To Upper Fuel Bowl
When I cycle the key or even try to crank there is no fuel filling up in the upper fuel filter bowl.
Just wondering if I am correct in assuming it is the lpfp on the frame rail.
The truck will not start. It died once and after sitting for a day or so it did start and ran for a couple days but now it is dead once again.
Thanks guys

I just changed the fuel filters today. But now I have fuel at the upper bowl but no fire. I'm going to try bleeding the fuel system tomorrow, and check fuel pressures. The truck is brand new too. It only has a few hundred miles on it but the client wants us to figure out the problem not the dealership. Kind of frustrating in a way. I didn't have access to my alldata today, and my scan tool so it was kind of shooting blind. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get it.

Oh, so there is fuel in the bowl. Then key on 6-8 times. Should hear the lower pump come on, just put the key to the on position till the buz stops. Turn key off and do it again.
Then try to start. If that does not work and you have already depressed the fuel cutoff switch...then hold the switch down and crank. See if that works.
I would also suggest removing the lower filter and re-inserting it again. Check for damage or an incorrect installation.
I hope those were motorcraft filters..use only the OEM for fuel and oil filters.
