Guages vs Digital Monitors ?

I've put it off long enough. It's time to get some guages or a monitor.
Is anyone here running the BD-Power X monitor? It's seems to be a slick system for keeping track of all the basic stuff EGTs, Trans. Temp, ect and then some. Whats the advantage of guages vs monitors and visa-versa.
I did a search on the BD power X and didn't find much.

Only advantage I could see with running a monitor might be the ability to pull codes, if that on does it? EGT you will still have to install a probe with either I'm sure, Some like me like to be able to see it all easily at a glance in the corner, others like something like the scangauge which is a nice setup too. I would think the Bully dog stuff would be more pricey than say the nice kits that Clay sells, but I have not priced them either.

X2 on the riffraff gauges hes a really great guy, american and its made in the usa and u can find him on here as well

Got my gauges from Riffraff today. The gauge pod is coming in a few days. I've got a big test to get my EMT certification saturday, so I'm going to wait until after then to get it all put on.
