Rattle Can

I was thinking about laying down some rattle can white on my truck. Anyone had any luck with it?

just have a good base down and it should turn out pretty well dude. make sure you actually sand tho, probably with like..1000 bit to 800 bit? or vice versa?

we did that to my friends station wagon and it was a pretty pain free and decently good looking job.

A big part of the problem is, you just are not laying down paint thick enough to sand and buff out properly. There is very little paint in a can and the cost adds up fast. Even a Maaco job will turn out better if you do your own prep. I have seen roll on paint and rattle can paint jobs that look really good. But you still have to have enough material on there to work with.

Completely possible. However, you will spend more in rattle cans than it is worth. This picture has 3 layers of primer, 3 of paint, and 3 of clear. All rattle can
