Emergency Transmission Problem
Actually, how hard would it be to swap the whole drive train into the F100, engine & all? Still a 300 six. Wiring harness, 'puter, etc. would need to be swapped. Anyone done one?
The pedals in the 94 won't work on the earlymodel cab, you will need pedals from 85-91.
the speedo problem can be handled, take the tailshaft off, drill out the hole where the speedo gear goes, and use the gear out of the other trans.... also, you will need the floor plate, I almost forgot that
you can change everything over, from the 94, but the wiring, and computer things on the dash would end up being a nightmare, but do-able

As for the "early in the morning" part, the response from you was listed as being made at mid-afternoon, my time. Perhaps you are somewhere else in this world, and that was early where you are. You don't (or not as of yet) list a location, so there's no way to really know. I know the world is much larger than just the USA, and time varies around the globe.
As I stated previously, salvage yard parts are always a gamble. Anything short of a full teardown by a trained pro, and a thorough inspection, and it's easy to miss something that's wrong. Even a pro can miss something without doing a full teardown, and sometimes even during a full rebuild.
There were several variations of this trans used over the years, mainly because they were all problematic in real life use. The different parts diagrams posted show that there were changes made during the lifespan of the 3+OD, in order to address the issues that were occuring.
This makes finding a good used unit even more difficult, and rebuilt units are also a bit hard to locate since they are all 25-35 years old.
Most people these days just convert to a different trans, due to the limited availability of *good* replacements in this design. Some swaps are simple, like a NP435/BW T18, and others are more involved such as the M5OD/ZF 5 speeds.
Whatever route you choose to take, there are plenty of folks here that can answer any questions you may have. Be respectful of others, and you will usually get respected back. This is far more important for a new member, since no one really knows who you are.
Yes, I can be a little rude towards a few people, and I sometimes "argue" with others, but the rudeness comes from past dealings with them, and the "arguing" is just how how we have always done things. One of the guys I "argue" with quite often, I would gladly help any day of the week, and I'm pretty sure he knows it. I suspect the feeling is mutual. We just banter back and forth for entertainment value...... Or that's my side of it.
I think if the 94 is going to be parted, then scrapped, you may be able to cut that part out of the cab. The difference in the cabs in the 94 is the huge aluminum mount for the pedals, and the emergency brake, if you are good with fabricating things, you may be able to utilize the 94 parts. Physcostang put a 94 cab on a 89 truck, when everyone said it couldn't be done, he has a good thread about that about a year ago in the 87-96 threads.
This truck is a beater & needs some TLC but it is sound.
