Trans Rebuild
I'm looking for a good transmission shop to rebuild a C4 trans for me. I will take it out and bring it to them. Anybody have any luck with trans shops in the Detroit area?? If this works out I will have a C6 also that needs to get rebuilt also. I have a couple in my area but not to sure about them, rather get info from word of mouth.

No my guy is a very good friend of mine, has a place up at Silver Lake, worked at Central Ford with me when I was wrenching, now works for Lansing Schools but has a trans business on the side. I have had a few tranny's done by him and recommended a lot of people and never had a complaint.
He has a blue 83 cj7 that normally has a 406 small block in it pushing 640hp. but is going through that motor this year, running a 327 with about 400 hp right now i guess.
I'll send you his info.......

he's only 45 minutes from Alto, and his place by the dunes is on Beech right by the voucher center.
