need STC fitting help.

how do you get the back two bolts that hold the heat sheild off. i dont want to cut it but i need these things off

I did mine a few weeks ago. If you can put enough suport on the engine (blankets) to rest your body on the engien and you may get them. Removing the up-pipes and y-pipe will hlep.
do you have a little kid slave to reach back there?

Note, they are even harder to put on than taking them off.

from the bottom. take off the linkage from the trans your arm should fit. or you can just go from the top. either way works for me.

awesome thanks for the advice ill try both. i could get a 8mm wrench on there but i just couldnt get it to break loose so i was wondering if there was an easier way

Just like doing a woman, either up on top or on bottom works for me too.

You might want to use a 1/4" drive ratchet with either an 8mm or 5/16" six point socket instead, so you don't risk rounding the head of the bolt while trying to crack it loose.
