when i am driving my truck and put it the the floor it makes this gargling/spuddering sound and looses power. i was thinking that my fuel injectors are really gummed up but i am not sure, any ideas??????/
I'd start with a good mouthwash - er - carb/FI cleaner. You might get lucky on the first go round - if not go two. I've had good luck with a BG product - BG 44k- cleaning out my carb and engine carbon but I use it semi annually. It's pricey - $18/ can - but I can feel the difference. I was introduced to the product as a kid working at a garage in the early '70's. I tried it on the wife's MPEFI a time or two with less positive results...sure works great on carbs&carbon though...
I suppose you've already checked or changed you fuel line filter....
yea the filter is new, i am going to have the shop at school clean them, they use some strong stuff and it isn't an additave, but i am not sure how they do it, they are gonna do it monday hopefully but i am gonna see how it does after that
i finally figured it out, today i was playing around with my truck and i switched to my front tank(i never use my front tank b/c the gague doesn't read correctly and it pumps gas into my rear tank) well anyway, my truck came alive, it stopped spuddering and gained almost twice as much power and now she runs like a dream, my guess is that my rear fuel pump is on it's way out, so u guess i am going to have to fork out 130 for that but it is worth it.
