I have a 2006 F-150 SCab and would like to hard wire my aftermarket backup camera. I currently have it installed in wireless mode, but it gets lots of interference from just about anything that emits RFI. I have the camera mounted over the license plate, and the screen mounted in the overhead console. There is a rubber vent or dust valve at the rear of the cab that I can run the signal wire through, but I need to remove the rear seat back to access the wire coming through the rubber valve. Question is, how do I remove the rear seat back? Thanks in advance, John

I am going to take a wild guess and assume that the seat comes out like all seats have come out since the 50's. Get down in the rear floor and use your hands or knees to put a lot of pressure on the seat bottom to release it from some hooks in the floor. Push back and then lift up a little bit. You will have to do both the driver's side and the pass side. Then pull the seat bottom out of the truck. Then at the bottom of the seat back will be bolts at the bottom that bolt the seat back to the truck. Take these bolts out, and then lift up on the seat back to get it out.
I know this is a new truck, and I have never worked on one that new, so I am not sure the above procedure is correct. But it's the way the rear seat on most vehicles I have worked on come out.
