Don't know where to go from here, only blows out the defrost vent. I have checked and there are no vacuum leaks, the pump will run when key is turned on and then it will stop running and will not run again unless I unplug a vacuum line and emty the tank. It was working fine untill the other day and now it will just blow out the defrost vent.
If vacuum is not running and you know that it is working, the you either have a collaped or kinked line or you controlls are messed up. Look under the glove box and make sure the lines are plugged up there. Follow the lines from the vacuum cansister to the fire wall then on the inside follow them as far as you can. If all looks good, time to look much deeper. Is it blowing full force from the defrost?
Well found my problem, the line going to tthe cab got smashed some how when I was changing motors, spliced it and all is good again.
Thanks to all.
Good find. Thanks for posting back with the problem you found. Being "smashed" is why the reservoir didn't loose vac causing the vac pump to run continuously. I'll have to remember that.
