My rt side Warn hub is locked. The dial is isn the unlocked position.
Replaced ESOF hubs with new Warn heavy duty 15 k to 30 miles ago.
How do I fix this? Just remove hub and lube?
I may have been driving like this for 15 to 30k miles. What dammage could it have caused? Extra front driveshaft wear????
if you have the warn premiums its likely the thin sheetmetal "cog" that rides in the threads of the part you twist and engages the spring. i've had to disassemble mine FIVE TIMES now because that stupid thin sheetmetal cog bends. i am NOT happy with these supposedly top of the line hubs.
pop off the 6 allen screws and turn the dial, see if the cog is staying in the threads of the dial. likely not. just have to bend the cog back into shape the best you can.
