noob camper special
i am an avid off-roader and want to explore further away so i want an old f250 a camper and a trailer to pull my mazda 4x4 to the woods and back home. i am looking on CL alot at f250's between 500-1500. i work at a big garage so drive train tranny and tire stuff is easy -where i need advice is GVW/GVWR - IS f250 enough truck for this project? i like 4x2,ext cab,v8 gas ,8ft bed. i like man trans but auto seem to tow more.
