You may be low on refrigerant if it cycles that often.

What makes you suspect the TPS? When the compressor starts, what happens to the idle speed of the engine?

I 'll check the refrigerant ,engine speed increases very little ,hardly noticeable on the tach ,when the compressor kicks in.Thanks

Could be low on R-134, or maybe a faulty low pressure switch, sounds like the IAC is working ok if it idles up when you switch the A/C on.

Is cooling wimpy?????

Any oily signs of a leak around any of the A/C line fittings, or the compressor????

The system refrigerant should be pumped out & recharged by the specified weight of R-134 listed on the under hood label, Don't use one of those products with a sealant in it.

Let us know how it goes.
