Thanks for the input hairy. I have a highboy so there would be a little more fab work involved but if it provides a smoother ride and the suspension acts how it's supposed to, it's worth it.

when i first got it home 39.5X15.5X15 4 inch lift with 3 inch body




after putting 31's on it LOL UGLY. this is how it was when i sold it.

shookdaddy, can you go into a little more detail (pictures?) of what all you did to convert to 4wd with the 2wd frame? I am interested in what coils you used and how you tackled the steering.

The second pic is prob the best, I still dont know how to post a picture right on a thread, this is a 4in rancho with the RS5000s and in that picture it is sitting on 33s, I am currently running 35s and have had upto 38.5 and 40s under getting tight.

Well, here's mine. I hope this picture works. (I only have a handful of posts on the site so far). 1979 F150, 6" lift, 35" tires. The lift looks small, but my leaves are all sagging, its due for an upgrade...Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic too. Next time will be quality...

yes its about the same height as my 79 f250 with a 6" skyjacker
